CINNAMON PULL APARTS

(My brother's recipe)

 DOUGH:

3 cups all purpose flour

1/4 cup instant skim milk powder (optional)

3 tbsp soft margarine/butter, divide into 4 pieces

2 tbsp sugar

1 tsp salt

1 pkg active dry yeast (1 tbsp)

1/4 cup lukewarm water

1 egg, slightly beaten

1/2 to 3/4 cup lukewarm water

Mix flour, skim milk powder, margarine/butter, sugar and salt. Dissolve yeast in water. Add yeast and egg. Add just enough water to make dough form a loose ball (add only enough water to make a soft dough). Turn dough onto well floured surface and fold over 9 or 10 times. Shape into ball. Place dough in greased bowl and rotate to grease surface. Cover, let rise in warm place until doubled in size (about 1-1/2 hours).

CINNAMON PULL APARTS:

Divide dough into 24 pieces

3/4 cup brown sugar, may need more

2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 cup margarine/butter

Combine sugar and cinnamon. Melt margarine/butter in saucepan. Coat dough pieces with melted margarine/butter. Roll in sugar mixture. Place coated dough pieces in well-greased 10" Bundt pan. Sprinkle remaining sugar over top. Cover, let rise again until double in size (about 1-1/2 hours). Bake in preheated 350F/175C oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
