GRIDDLE CAKES

 

2 CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR

2 TBSP. SUGAR

3/4 TSP. SALT

3 TSP. BAKING POWDER

2 EGGS

1-1/4 CUPS MILK

1/4 CUP SALAD OIL

OR MELTED SHORTENING

 

SIFT TOGETHER FLOUR, SUGAR, SALT AND BAKING POWDER.

BEAT EGGS AND ADD MILK.

COMBINE WITH DRY INGREDIENTS AND MIX SMOOTH.

ADD SHORTENING OR SALAD OIL.

DROP BY SPOONFULS ON HOT GRIDDLE.
