LEMON ALMOND DESSERT

 

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup margarine/butter, soft

1/3 cup ground almonds

2 tbsp sugar

 

Form into a ball.

Press into 8" square pan.

Bake at 350F for 15 - 20 minutes until golden brown. Cool.

 

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup icing sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla

1 cup whipping cream, whipped

 

Beat cream cheese, icing sugar and vanilla until smooth.

Fold in 1/2 whipped cream. Spread on crust.

 

7.5 oz Sherrif pie filling

 

Make and cool.

Spread over cheese.

Spread the rest of the whipped cream on top.

Cover with 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted.
