PEANUT BUTTER TEDDIES

Great treat for kids – nutritious and delicious

 

1 CUP CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER

2/3 CUP NONFAT DRY MILK

3/4 CUP ICING SUGAR

3/4 CUP GRAHAM CRACKER CRUMBS

SMALL CHOCOLATE CHIPS AND SPRINKLES

 

IN A LARGE BOWL, BEAT PEANUT BUTTER, DRY MILK, ICING SUGAR AND 3/4 CUP OF THE GRAHAM CRACKER CRUMBS TO MAKE A VERY STIFF DOUGH.  COVER AND CHILL 1 HOUR.

TO MAKE BEARS, SIMPLY ROLL SMALL PIECES OF DOUGH INTO BALLS AND PRESS TOGETHER AS YOU WOULD CLAY.  (LARGE BALL FOR BODY, SMALLER BALL FOR HEAD, FOUR OVAL BALLS FOR LEGS AND ARMS, SMALL BALL FOR SNOUT, AND TWO FLAT BALLS FOR EARS)

MAKE HOLES FOR BELLY BUTTON WITH A TOOTHPICK.

PRESS A CHOCOLATE CHIP ONTO THE END OF EACH SNOUT TO MAKE A NOSE.

USE SPRINKLES FOR EYES.

LET STAND IN A COOL, DRY PLACE, OR CHILL UNTIL FIRM.
